It was an amazing night! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate 2 years of photography pop ups at our 6th one-night-only event, Route 62 Photography Pop up! All photos by Matt Weinberg.
Big news! Traveler Mark Von Kohler, now driving to Buffalo from Texas along Route 62, has been added to Friday’s photo line up.
We are very excited to announce that ‘meet the bacons‘ will be joining us for, Route 62: Photography Pop up at Mackey’s Shamrock Room!
The acoustic duo of Joe & Robin Bacon are from Buffalo, NY. They draw influences from many great vocal duos, like Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris and Shovels and Rope, with music styles that cross classic country, rock, bluegrass, blues and folk (more easily described as Americana music).
Our next show is Route 62: Photography Pop Up. This will be a one-night only event at Macky’s Shamrock Room, 1634 Bailey Avenue, on Friday, April 5, 2019, 6 to 11 pm. The show will direct the lenses of three photographers and a special guest videographer toward Route 62, the only U.S. highway to enter the City of Buffalo limits.

The three of us spent some time this afternoon planning our next events. Route 62 Photography Pop up is coming up on April 5, and we’re thrilled about what’s in store for June. Stay tuned.
As always, we’ll be serving beer from a local brewery at our event. Join us for “Buffalo’s Back Yard: Photography Pop Up Show” this Friday from 6-10pm. This time it’s “Citra Screamer” from Pressure Drop Brewing Company! Pressure Drop is the craft brewery headquartered at the newly-restored Barrel Factory, a 115-year-old historic factory in Buffalo’s legendary Old First Ward! Check out the event page and come join us!
